Vacation Pics

Thanks for stopping by to check out a little album I made. These pics were taken during mid May when one of my best girlfriends came from Austin, Texas to visit me in Los Angeles. Weve been buddies since 8th grade! ( we use to ride the bus together hehe)

This is on Ocean Blvd over looking Santa Monica beach. Both of us girls were admiring the roses. Of course we had to take some quick pics.

 

 

Another pic at Universal Studios- this is the Jurassic Park ride. It was really really neat and fun.

 

As I was supposed to be taking photos for my oceanography class. . . we kept stopping along the way to admire the scenary. This is along the Pacific Coast HighWay near Point Magu State Park.
This is as close as we could get to the Hollywood sign after driving around for about 85 mins trying to find it. ( its only about 20 mins away)

 

This is Ling when we were at Universal Studios. Behind her is Universal City ( maybe, I think)

 

 

This was a really cool fire show at Universal Studios. It was really scary how fast the fire spread and how hot it got in the room. Really great effect ( same one used in the movie Back Draft)

This last pic is one of my favorites. Ling and I had stayed up ALL night to make these silly shirts before we went to the Price is Right. It was pretty comical because of all the problems we kept running into: including-attempting to iron decals that are the "sew on" kind, running out of certain letters so we were cutting other letters and taping them together. Then finally we even had to tape on some of the letters cause they kept peeling off. By the time I left the show- my shirt read "I love the rice is right". It was quite an experience. We had a great time at the game show even though we didn't get to be contestants.
